NBSC participates in the Updating Consultation Workshop of Manolo Fortich Tourism Development Plan for 2023-2033
Manolo Fortich Bukidnon – The Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) participated the Updating Consultation Workshop of the Manolo Fortich Tourism Development Plan for 2023-2033 on November 14, 2022 at the New Government Center, Tankulan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
The activity was spearheaded by the Municipal Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Tourism, Ms. Rina E. Quiño and the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Ms. Cherry Fe Amor Q. Magallones. The facilitators during the workshop were the graduate students from the University of the Philippines – Open University under the Land Use Planning Program.
Organizations from the public and private sectors were invited to participate in the activity, which included the NBSC, the Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Tourism, the transport sector, and hotel management. The inputs derived from the workshop will then be consolidated by the Municipal Planning Office.
NBSC Research and Extension Director, Ms. Caroline Laarni R. Sereñas, attended the consultation workshop and provided input on areas where NBSC can collaborate with the Tourism Council of Manolo Fortich.
Bukidnon Provincial Vice-Governor Clive D. Quiño, Municipal Mayor Rogelio N. Quiño, and Municipal Vice-Mayor Reynaldo “Bojun” Bagayas were also present during the workshop.
